The Rodgers Family had a very busy 2011 Balmoral show, exhibiting in three breeds .

British Blues

Moneynabane Angel a British Blue six year old cow on her first time at Balmoral show competing in a very strong class of nine cows in calf or with calf at foot , securing 3rd place

Limousins

Moving on to the British Limousins ,Draperhill Enoch a twenty month old son of the famous bull Mousquaitre ( who himself won many breed championships ), gained 2nd place.

Blondes

To top the day off our two year old British Blonde home bred heifer Hillhead Estelle gained 1st in a very strong senior heifer class of nine.

 

Sired by our well know French stock bull ”sauveur” , confidently shown by thirteen year old Emma Rodgers who was delighted when the judge Alan Walker from the Glennifer herd, Ayrshire placed Estelle Female Champion for which she lifted the Andrews Perpetual Challenge cup.

She then went on to win Reserve Overall British Blonde Champion whilst lifting the Wilson Perpetual Challenge Trophy.
